How do I wash my hair with Nanos in?
Keep your head upright and gently massage starting at the scalp between the bonds. do not twist or rub. Do not use conditioner at the bonds. Use sulphate and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner. Make sure its a gentle cleansing moisturizing line. Never put oils on the bonds. Blow-dry after and avoid using heat on the bonds. I recommend using a clarifying shampoo once a week on the scalp to help reduce build-up and an itchy scalp.

How do I care for my extensions?
Curly Hair Extensions Care Tips
-
Sleep Care: Never sleep with wet hair. Before bed, put your hair in a loose ponytail or braid to prevent tangling and frizz.
-
Brushing & Detangling: Always brush from the bottom up, gently working through any tangles. For curly hair, it’s best to separate the bonds and brush gently before showering. In the shower, detangle and brush with conditioner to minimize breakage.
-
Limit Heat Styling: Frequent heat styling can shorten the life of your extensions. When styling is necessary, always use a heat protectant.
-
Daily Moisture: Apply a nourishing oil to the ends daily to keep them hydrated and prevent dryness.
-
Washing Guidelines: Use a salon-grade shampoo and conditioner that is sulfate- and paraben-free. Wash and rinse with cool to warm water (not hot), and limit washing to 1-3 times per week.
-
Weekly Deep Conditioning: Treat your extensions to a nourishing hair mask once a week to maintain moisture and softness.
How do I style wavy hair extensions?
-
Wash & Detangle in the Shower
Use an approved shampoo and conditioner. While the conditioner is on, detangle using a wet brush or wide-tooth comb. -
Style From Wet
After rinsing, apply a leave-in conditioner (from the approved list) and allow the hair to air dry or diffuse to dry (see diffusing tips below). -
For More Defined Waves
Apply products in this order while hair is wet:
- Leave-in conditioner
- Curl cream
- Oligo Blacklight Volume Mousse
Scrunch the hair between each product. Let air dry fully or diffuse, then scrunch out the crunch for soft, defined waves. -
Between Washes
When brushing the wavy hair dry, use a wet brush for a soft, fluffy straight look.
For a more defined wave between washes, use a wide-tooth comb instead.

Troubleshooting Tip:
If your natural hair is curlier than the wavy extensions but not curly enough to match the curly texture, try using a heavier leave-in conditioner after washing. This will help weigh down your curls for a smoother blend.
